The trends coming in 2023, vary from simplistic designs to over the top jewellery. In this blog we will tell you about the most important facts for 2023.

Flowers

In the past fashion weeks, it has become clear that the designers are doing their best to incorporate floral designs in their designs. From using actual flowers to following the flower shape, the jewellery comes in all shapes and sizes. The flowers are mostly incorporated in earrings.

Cuffs

When springtime is knocking on our doorstep, cuffs will be the new trend. People will mainly wear them on the upper arm. It is a way to elevate any outfit. They highlight not only the clothes but also the arms. Like most jewellery, yellow gold is the popular metal with arm cuffs.

Length & size

In 2022, hanging earrings were a big trend. To elevate the craze, designers have added length to the mix. On the Proenza Schouler runway, long hanging earrings were amplified with slick brushed-back hair. Next to long earrings, is big jewellery the next big thing. Some may find it unconventional but it doesn’t take anything away from simple clothing. On the contrary, big jewellery and the long earrings are what complete the look.

Pearls and chain

On the spring/summer runways, pearls and chains were an unexpected twist. It is a combination of pretty and tough. People can wear the pearls and chain in one piece or separately. On the runways it was mostly seen on earrings and colliers.

Cuts

As seen in 2022, and will probably rise in 2023, baguette and pear cuts are trends that keep growing. The baguette cut was the most popular choice in 2022, the long shape has become the first choice when it comes to side stones in designs. On the other hand people talk about the comeback of the pear cut. According to the jewellery trends of 2023, this shape is a wedding ring favorite.
